To enrich the campus life of international students and deepen their understanding of Chinese traditional culture, the School of International Education organized international students to step into thousand-year-old Hexia Ancient Town in Huai'an,providing them with a“zero-distance”experience of Chinese traditional culture on October 23.

On the day of the activity, international students visited Hexia Ancient Town under the guidance of teachers. The ancient blue stone roads, rustic residential buildings, and traditional handicraft shops along the streets left the international students in awe. During the tour, teachers explained the history, cultural origins, and unique customs of Hexia Ancient Town to the international students. They enthusiastically captured these beautiful moments with their cameras.

After the activity, a student from Bangladesh exclaimed excitedly, "This is the most unforgettable experience I've had since coming to China. The traditional culture of Huai'an's ancient town has opened my eyes. I will share this wonderful experience with my family and hometown."

This activity not only allowed international students to experience the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture up close but also deepened their understanding and knowledge of the local culture in Huai'an.The School of International Education will continue to provide them with more diverse and enriching cultural experience activities.
